An example might help. If a client is 28 years old and in a stable relationship it may come as very good advice to borrow 100% (100% finance is available), but we'd be hard pressed to make the same recommendation to a person aged 56 years old in an equeally stable relationship and income levels.
That is, persons in identical circumstances with one change - in this example, age - leads to a completely different analysis.
